At Instant Pot, your privacy, safety, and confidence in our products matter to us. That’s why we’re committed to meeting all requirements set out under Australia’s latest Cyber Security Act and the Security Standards for Smart Devices. These standards help make sure the smart products you bring into your home are safer and more secure than ever.
We follow the rules that protect you
The new rules require all new smart devices manufactured from 4 March 2026 to meet clear security expectations. This includes areas like no universal default passwords, clear ways for you to report security concerns, and transparency around how long your device and its app will receive security updates. We take these obligations seriously and are fully committed to complying with them for all us WiFi enabled smart products.
